MANDREA – MOUTH OF TOVO – TENNO (ALL MOUNTAIN)

Challenging tour capable of giving a lot of satisfaction from a naturalistic and landscape point of view. Even with assisted pedaling, certain slopes are not to be underestimated. The climb that from the Olivaia di Arco leads to altitude towards Padaro is tough. It alternates unpaved sections with other cemented sections, sometimes even reaching a gradient of more than 20%. Then a long stretch of asphalt with a constant gradient close to 10%, then continue the ascent on a well-maintained forest road.
The first part of the descent is quite technical, initially with a rocky bottom, sometimes loose and some steps. Then gradually the bottom becomes smoother and more stable with a series of rather narrow hairpins. After this segment, we do not find other technical passages and we will cover several stretches of asphalt interspersed with some short ascents. With the climatic conditions of recent years, this route is practicable most of the year. If you have a limited supply of water, during the ascent it is advisable to fill up at the fountain located at the entrance to the town of Padaro.
